A Referral Batch worth Noting....

I know it's been a very long time since I posted... but I was getting very tired of updating nothing. But, I thought that today's referral dates were worth mentioning. China has finished referring February 2006, and they have finally gotten to our LID month. So, I guess I can "almost" be optimistic that the very long proverbial tunnel might just have a light at the end. However, after three years of waiting, and my cynical nature, I can't quite muster the excitement that the end of February LIDs should bring. The last year has brought with it many doubts that this journey would end with a child. We are getting close, but I'm just a little too leary to get excited yet. So, I let mom be optimistic as she is sure Hana will be home by her birthday. I will be a bit more realistic and just hope we have a referral with a picture by next Christmas. And, if it does work out so that she is home by next Christmas, I promise to send out Christmas cards... complete with photos.
